How much does a wedding celebrant cost in Albury-Wodonga?
Rob offers three ceremony options: the Full Wedding Ceremony from $790, the Micro Wedding Ceremony from $650 and the Simple ‘I do’ from $520. Each includes your marriage paperwork and registration.

What is included in your wedding packages?
Packages include a personalised ceremony, planning support, marriage paperwork and registration. The Full Wedding Ceremony adds a ceremony script, vow options, speaker and microphone, and an optional rehearsal.
Do you require a deposit to secure our date?
Get in touch with your date and Rob will confirm availability and explain how to secure it.
When should we book our wedding celebrant?
As soon as you have a date and location. Popular spring and autumn Saturdays book out early, but short-notice and weekday ceremonies are often possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
Ask Rob when you enquire and he will confirm the available payment options.
Do you offer refunds if we need to change our date?
If your plans change, contact Rob as early as possible and he will work through the options with you.
Ceremony planning and personal vows
Can we write our own vows?
Yes. You can write your own vows, use traditional wording, or mix both. Rob provides vow options and guidance if you would like help.
What does the ceremony include?
A welcome, your love story, readings or music if you want them, vows, the exchange of rings, the legal declarations and the signing of your marriage certificates.
How long does a wedding ceremony take?
Most ceremonies run 20 to 30 minutes. A simple legal ceremony can be shorter.
Marriage paperwork and legal requirements
What do we need to get married in Australia?
You need to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage with your celebrant at least one month before the ceremony, provide photo ID and proof of birth, and have two witnesses on the day. Rob guides you through each step.
Do we need a marriage licence?
No. Australia does not use a marriage licence. Your celebrant lodges the Notice of Intended Marriage and registers your marriage after the ceremony.
What if one of us has been married before?
You will need to show evidence that your previous marriage has ended, such as a divorce order or death certificate. Rob will tell you exactly what is needed.
Small weddings, elopements and locations
Can we have a small wedding or elopement?
Yes. The Micro Wedding Ceremony and Simple ‘I do’ are designed for small gatherings and elopements.
Do you travel to other venues?
Yes. Rob officiates across Albury, Wodonga and North East Victoria, including Wangaratta, Beechworth, Bright, Corowa, Culcairn, the King Valley and the Mitta Mitta Valley.
Can we get married at home or in a park?
Yes. Gardens, parks, vineyards, lakesides and private homes all work well. Check with the venue or council if a booking or permit is needed.
Wedding-day logistics and unexpected changes
What happens if it rains?
Rob recommends having a wet-weather plan, such as a covered area or indoor space. On the day he will help you decide whether to move or wait.
What if you are unavailable on the day?
Your date is reserved for you. In the unlikely event of illness or emergency, Rob will arrange a suitable alternative so your wedding goes ahead.
Do you provide a microphone and speaker?
A speaker and microphone are included in the Full Wedding Ceremony, so every guest can hear your vows.
